Ingredients

  • Ladyfingers
  • Strong brewed coffee or espresso
  • Mascarpone cheese
  • Cherry preserves
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Brew strong coffee or espresso and allow it to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend mascarpone cheese with cherry preserves until smooth.
  3. Briefly dip half of the ladyfingers into the cooled coffee mixture and arrange in a baking dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours, or overnight if possible. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
