  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tube (8-count) crescent roll dough
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for added crunch)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough into triangles; flatten slightly.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle and fold over to seal.
  5. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with panko if desired.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour for 1 minute, then gradually add milk and cream until thickened; stir in Parmesan cheese.
