  • 6 cups pretzel minis (or 2 cups pretzel crumbles)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup salted butter (melted)
  • 1 brick (8 oz) cream cheese (very soft)
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 package (6 oz) raspberry Jello powder
  • 1 can (28 oz) whole cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×13 casserole dish by spraying with cooking spray or lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, crush pretzels into coarse crumbles. Mix with melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish and chill for 1 hour.
  3. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, Cool Whip, almond extract, and lemon juice; mix until smooth. Spread over the chilled pretzel crust.
  4. Boil 1½ cups water; dissolve raspberry Jello powder in boiling water. Stir in cranberry sauce until combined.
  5. Pour the Jello mixture over the cream cheese layer. Chill overnight or at least for 6 hours before serving.
