  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear each chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk together chicken broth and softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in grated Parmesan and simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Place the seared chicken in the baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over it. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
