  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Crumble the chicken sausage into the skillet and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
  5. Reduce heat, add heavy cream, stirring continuously until well combined.
  6. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if necessary. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
