  • 12 Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced deli chicken
  • 21/2 cups cooked pulled beef
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 30 dill pickle chips (drained)
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • dried minced garlic
  • dried minced onion
  • poppy seeds
  • flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the rolls horizontally while keeping them connected and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and melted butter; spread half on the bottom roll layer.
  4. Layer half the Swiss cheese, chicken, pulled beef, pickles, and remaining cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
  5. Place the top half of rolls over the filling. Mix remaining butter with garlic, onion, poppy seeds, and salt; brush over rolls.
  6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown. Let rest before slicing.
