  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and toast pecans until fragrant.
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture without overmixing.
  6. Fold in toasted pecans gently.
  7. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between each scoop.
