  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz linguine
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into 20–24 meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; brown the meatballs on all sides (approximately 6–8 minutes). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add lemon juice and parsley before returning the meatballs to the skillet. Simmer for about 5–7 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Cook linguine according to package instructions; drain and reserve some pasta water. In another pan, melt butter and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until combined.
  5. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce, then serve with meatballs on top.
