Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold potatoes (or red-skinned potatoes)
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or sage)
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle parmesan cheese on the bottom.
  3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, fresh herbs, salt, black pepper, and roasted garlic base. Stir until melted and steaming.
  4. Thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline slicer and arrange them in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden brown.
