  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (or more for extra spice)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package spring roll wrappers (or dumpling wrappers)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cabbage, grated carrots, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and ginger. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until combined.
  2. Lay a wrapper on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of filling in the center. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly, sealing edges with water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry dumpling rolls in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.
